As I mentioned a few weeks ago, our insurers, Collidge, sent us an 'Inland Waterways Breakdown Cover' brochure. They say that three call outs (of 2 hours each) to River Canal Rescue will cost £65 per year from Collidge. We paid £129.00 to RCR last March for four call outs per year (and £127.50 in March 2016).
I thought we'd now plump for the £65 offer.
Looking through the brochure I see it says, under General Exclusions: You (and not us) will be responsible for the cost of: clearing fouled propellers - where access cannot be gained.
Brought Stabby's mattress incident to mind.
Has anyone else had an offer of Breakdown Cover (using RCR) from their insurers? Or is it just Collidge?

I would imagine that is referring to boats without weed hatches.
