Some of you seem to be confusing the argument that there shouldn't be a referendum with support for the 'in' campaign.

Some of you seem to be confusing the argument that there shouldn't be a referendum with support for the 'in' campaign. Well if there is no referendem, the IN crowd win. So there is a direct relationship. I think a lot of people who think they are political academics confuse eloquent use of langauge with intelligence. Bullshit is bullshit in any language.

Richard Dawkins has written some damned good books about genetics - and then there was his The God Delusion. He's also married to one of Doctor Who's assistants.

If I had the Tardis I'd go back in time and catch Cherie Blair myself, travelling on that train without a ticket. Cherie and Tone -'birds of a feather, steal together!' (btw - what's with cds? I just looked 'members' and my arch rival has vanished, just like the Tardis. Did he feel this site was not serious enough about tackling CRT? I think it's still early days and that serious discussions will arise, but nothing wrong with mucking about a bit either. That means mjg now stands exposed on the Biggest Twat pedestal, so I suppose there is that ray of sunshine!) Hee! hee! hee! Last time I looked there were three equal firsts ........ and you were one of them ........ This is fun ! I wonder who will end up the winner or will it run and run Attachment Deleted

You just have to vote for whatever you feel is in your best interests, and the best interests of your family. If you feel that "remain" is the best option for you, and for them, then that is what you should vote for. Although it is very natural and human to do this, unfortunately human nature has caused countless catastrophes over the time we have existed on earth.
I would like to think that human nature can be transcended for the good of the greatest number. Some people have managed to do this. Perhaps Nelson Mandela would be an example of such a person. If the human race is to make any progress we must look beyond the narrow confines of ourselves and our family, and the country in which we happen to have been born.

Has the EU so far been for 'the greater good' for everyone? I have only seen things get worse and worse. Obviously has made life better for Romanian gypsies who harrass you on the streets, and Baltic block folk who come over to work with vehicles registered in their own countries so they can avoid paying Road Tax in their host countries.

I think Dawkins is correct. If the British public vote to leave while a three-to-one majority of MPs are in favour of staying in, what happens? Enabling legislation will not pass. Brexit should be decided only after long debate in both houses. I am worried that the Brexit camp will win. The EU has its faults but, as the doctor said, the cure is worse than the disease.

I think Dawkins is correct. If the British public vote to leave while a four-to-one majority of MPs are in favour of staying in, what happens? Enabling legislation will not pass. Brexit should be decided only after long debate in both houses. I am worried that the Brexit camp will win. The EU has its faults but, as the doctor said, the cure is worse than the disease. One thing I do think is that MPs should listen to the electorate a bit more, rather than telling them what they should be thinking. Personally, I'd be happy to take our chances outside the eu, it could hardly e any worse.

The referendum is not legally binding. If a general election were called and the Tories manifested to remain that would overrule Brexit.
