What a complete load of prissy, sanctimonious, holier-than-thou bollocks. I don't need a degree in economics or history to see how far my living standards, and the living standards of everybody I know have fallen since Margaret Thatcher and Tony Blair spotted the army of third-world labour on the far bank of the River Oder. If we remain in, that's my business finished.
Basically, if you own thousands of acres of farmland, or a couple of factories, then you should vote "remain". If you don't, you should vote "leave".

It is perfectly possible to be a member of the intelligentsia and also be a complete and total prat.
Rule by the cognoscenti is fine in theory but there are many who are completely and totally incapable of understanding anything outside of their narrow little field
maybe his name should be written as Richard Dorkin

How can anybody imagine that it is a good idea to be ruled by people you can't vote out? How can anybody imagine that that it is a good idea to compete with eastern European wages when you have to pay western European housing costs? How on earth did I leave Delta9 out of the "biggest twat on Thunderboat" thread when he is so obviously a shoo-in for the title?

I'm inclined to agree with him. There are various arguments on both sides, each of which have some merit and some exaggeration. It comes down to how you want to weight the pros and cons, depending on your own situation or your degree of altruism. I remained undecided in principle because I can see the validity of the arguments of both sides. So if someone incredibly intelligent like me can't see an obvious position to take, that means there isn't a best choice and that means it really doesn't matter which side wins the day. I'll be voting out but only to shift the balance of the Scottish vote vs the uk vote so that in the event of out, the Witch Queen Nicola will have less magic dust with which to demand another referendum on Scottish independence.

Ok, I would bow to your incredible intelligence but the trouble is I've already posted my vote off.

Ok, I would bow to your incredible intelligence but the trouble is I've already posted my vote off. As as I said, it doesn't matter which way you vote. Both positions have equal merit. That's why the recent TV debates have been on council TV (aka ITV) - the intelligentsia who of course only watch the BBC (well, apart from Downtown which reminds them of their heydays) by now realise it's a non-argument and have better things to do such as look forward to the Autumn season of "Strickkkerly".

As as I said, it doesn't matter which way you vote. Both positions have equal merit. You just have to vote for whatever you feel is in your best interests, and the best interests of your family. If you feel that "remain" is the best option for you, and for them, then that is what you should vote for. I wouldn't advise you to decide your vote on what anybody on the television says, decide on your own experiences and on what people say to you in everyday life.

Wake up you stupid 'Intelligensia'!
Do you not see how things have changed in the past 25 years? Mostly for the worse. Private corporations are raking it in whilst the Euro MPs are stuffing their gills with snails and frogs legs in the finest and most expensive restaurants in Brussels.
One needs not just intelligence but boldness.
Next week I'm going to ask where my voting papers are - have heard nothing so far! That shows for starters how this vote has been rigged from Day One.

No he isn't right. He's an ignorant twat and ironically stuck in his way as much as some religious cults. No love to be found but plenty of ego...
