I think most Sun readers were in support of Brexit anyway. Brexit support is generally highest amongst the uneducated. I think it's probably fair to say that Brexit support is higher amongst those who have been harmed by eu membership, and this predominantly means those who do manual work. I wouldn't agree that it necessarily follows that this means "uneducated", some people simply do not fancy some type of Civil Service job or somesuch. I seem to recall final of the BBC programme "Mastermind" having been won by a taxi driver for example.

According to YouGov poll:
Highest qualification GCSE or lower = Remain 32% Leave 68%
Highest qualification A-level or equivalent = Remain 58% Leave 42%
So yeh, the less educated are more likely to support leave.

Those who are better educated generally come from a more privileged family who probably have more of an interest in staying in due to their investments and pensions. If you are saying those who to exit do it purely because they are thick, you are very wrong.

If you are saying those who to exit do it purely because they are thick, you are very wrong. It is certainly a contributing factor.

I'm sure that your first sentence is pretty much on the money.

Actually, it could be argued that less intelligent people are more likely to follow the scare stories. Just to add that intelligence is not required to spot bullshit. My own life experiences tend to suggest that intelligence and education are two entirely different things with virtually no correlation to each other. Some of the thickest, least street-wise people I have ever known have also been some of the most highly educated. I made my decision based on my own experiences, and the prospects for the company I run if we remain in the eu as opposed to leaving.

It's hotting up now, my FB friends, it's devided, I'm finding my ex forces mates are all for out, boaty friends, mostly in ( especially cwdf peeps) I'm at my van on the north east coast next Thursday, I'm going to get a shed load of beer in, sit up all night like a sad twat and see what happens! Personally I think we're heading for an exit ( that's as long as the government don't fix the vote)

Not sure what your point is. That document applies to cabbages, Brussels sprouts, ribbed celery, spinach and plums and is only 5000 word long...

Used to go to the grocery shop and buy one. Now it needs a 5000 word document explaining what my cabbage should be, to be a, well, cabbage. I wonder how many man hours went into developing that doc? I think the intelligent folk have decided to vote leave, knowing full well why. I think the remain camp are not that intelligent, they have failed to convince why it would be better to stay.
