Hi, and recommendations for Insurance companies for the boat ? We feel we are likely to come to some decision on the boat this coming weekend and need to start thinking about what comes next.

It's never possible to say if insurance companies are any good until you need to claim. I use Towergate because I got a huge discount from them on account of having used them to insure my truck, which was £4,000 a year. I think I pay about £160 including RCR.

We have our Land Rover Discovery with Adrian Flux, which has mixed reviews to say the least. Current renewal however is £200 less than last years, so we will probably stay with them. Might have a look at towergate, as we feel we need RCR ( at least for the first year anyway ) Cheers, Jerry
