Not had the boiler fired up for a year, just fitted all new rads and most of the pipework only to find this out, its sparking as i can see this through the little window at the bottom of the boiler, but seems like no gas, am thinking the pilot burner thingy is clogged with a years worth of dead spiders and dust.
Did get someone out sept 2015 to service it as it was doing the same, it didnt appear to be a lot of hassle, no new parts were added so i was wondering about doing it myself, obviously i wouldn't smoke a cigar whilst doing it, or do any fire juggling, plus i would make sure i bury any dead spiders i find, so can anyone point me in the right direction, open up and clean something i guess?
Yes i have checked the gas supply is good before a smart arse asks...

Well im still alive with a working boiler again!
Looked like a piece of rust had dropped down the chimney and was sat on the mushroom shaped thing, knocked it off and blew like a mutha fucka and put back the inspection plate back and all good, although the flames are orange so i think i need to go back in and have another blow.
Now just need to replace the rad valve i busted whilst tightening and i may have central heating this Easter for the first time in a year.
