So, Easter is very nearly upon us and we will be heading out for six days. It's not just the first trip of this year, it's the first run out since a quick blast up to Prickwillow at the beginning of December! We should have gone out over new year, but the river was up and it was pretty windy so decided against it. We are so looking forward to this trip, we were going a bit stir crazy stuck in the marina for so long so no matter what the weather, we're out. We've not been up to much over the winter, other than losing one dog and getting another, hence my lack of activity on here, I've never been good at posting just for the sake of it...π Anyone else heading out over Easter, have a great weekendπ

That's one of the nice things of these parts , it's easy to find a quiet spot to moor up and stay lost for a while Enjoy yourselves Dave and Debbie and I hope Max is OK on his first voyage Phil

Well, we've touched down at Lakenheath Fen. The trip here this morning was quite pleasant, but now the weather is pretty bloody awful, not that I care as we're out of the marina and in the middle of no where...π The dog has now had his first trip on the boat and seems to love it, didn't try to abandon ship once, although we had him on a lead just in case. Hope everyone else that's out is having fun despite the weather.

On occasion, our Manchester Terrier would leap for the bank when going through back bridge 'ole or narrows, misjudge, miss and fall in. She hated swimming. Oh dog of little brain!
