Norfolk broads.
Looks like an interesting place to go boating. I noticed that there are occasionally moorings for sale freehold.
Do many people live aboard on the broads? Obviously for economic reasons it will be less attractive than for example London and southeast england so probably not subject to the high level of residential use but is it something people do (quietly) or are there some sort of regulations which prevent it?
I quite fancy it for when I'm an old git.
Not been since I was a teenager but it does look to be nice and relaxed.

The Broads now resemble the M25 which was why after 10 years we moved to the Fens. Yes people do live aboard and some do continuous cruise but it's very hard work because moorings are for the most part 24hr with a few 48 HR, each river has its own Broads patrol boat and you WILL get moved on. Facilities are very sparse and likewise places to shop etc are difficult to find. The only sensible solution is to get a resident marina mooring. We were lucky and got a private dyke off he main river with 60' of river frontage plus a slipway power and water. Phil
