OK it seems u can get run over by a boat...still doesn't seem the right use of 'run over' to me....

naughtyfox Your comments about driving and parking boats indicate that you probably have some psychological issues around motor vehicles and there us a high probability that due to these issues you drive a vehicle "for a living" and as you also own a boat you are simply displacing your psychological issues onto the boat and this forum. I park my boat. Mooring is more like putting the handbrake on. Boats don't have hand brakes in fact they have no brakes at all just the option to reverse the rotational direction of the propeller usually by using a gearbox.

Reverse is footbrake. Parking is manouvring into position. What do ypu call manouvring into position at your mooring ready to tie up ?
