Well, we decided we'd better get out this weekend as the weather forecast was pretty good and we have a second new hound arriving next weekend. We moored at Toms Hole Farm on the Lark last night and, after a cooked breakfast, have had a run almost to Denver, stopping for lunch at the GOBA moorings before returning back to the river Lark where we have just touched down for the evening with re-charged batteries. Now going to light the barbie for a spot of dinner.....🙂 Must say, the weather has been lovely and the river was fairly busy this afternoon so after all the Great Ouse flooding, looks like the 'season' has finally kicked off..👍

True to form, have lit bbq and it's started to spit with rain......🤔 Hopefully the sausages and steak will cook before it tips it down.....

It's 8 pm here in Burgundy, it has been a gorgeous day, and there's still a beautiful blue sky, not a single cloud to see.
No idea how long this nice wether is going to last.
Peter.

The sky here has gone black and has just started chucking it down with some good thunder and lightning thrown into the mix

Minus temperatures for next week's nights/early mornings, and a band of rain/sleet/snow coming in from Norway predicted arrival Tuesday morning, so keeping out studded tyres on for now. I almost put our Summer wheels/tyres on this weekend. Our garden still full of snow.
