WILL have had a BSS. at some point unless he snuck about under the Broads radar for 9 years! BSS introduced on the Broads 1st April 2007. Cannot renew toll without BSS.. Boat last seen on Broads 2016.

"Gas system not present" perhaps ?
Take it out before inspection and put it back in afterwards.

I am superstitious, I don't like the number 13 and I never work a week with a Friday in it. Don't mind me, just rambling on to take the post count past that unlucky number.

Given the lack of damage and it's GRP it must have bèen a camping stove and burns to face and hands would indicate flash burns. The only obvious damage was the canopy, much of it in the water. A proper gas cylinder if it had exploded would have undoubtedly caused a lot of structural damage, even sunk it. Anybody remember London's Burning episode of a fire at a bottled gas depot? Well it was based on fact. I was commercial manager at a Flexigas filling plant in Boston and one of our depots in Scrubbs Lane near Wormwood Scrubbs had a fire which had cylinders flying around all over the place, straight through buildings and down the road hitting cars. Miracle was no injuries or deaths. It was not a filling plant and was thought to have been caused by a bottle being dropped while loading a lorry. Gave me a few headaches as my plant had to fill and shift plenty of bottles down to the Scrubbs to take up the slack. Phil
