I'm putting a Refleks 66 in one of my boats.
I will put a small (10 litre) stainless steel tank on the cabin top directly above the heater. Filled from a can or an electric pump from the main heating diesel tank which is a Guinness beer barrel I found but don't want to put on the cabin top.
So I need to plumb in the fuel line including bulkhead fitting to go through the steel plate.
I could either do this with ISO7840 6mm ID fuel line and hosetail fittings or do it all in 8mm copper which would require compression fittings.
What is the best option? It seems to me that using the 7840 would reduce the number of fittings required and it could all be clipped down securely and follow bends smoothly but I also think copper might be a better option.
I'm not sure.
