Does someone have experience installing there breathers thru hull? The recommended cut out diameter is 3", but that seems way too close to the bolt holes and I'm bit clumsy so I definitely wouldn't be make the hole precise. When I have a hole little smaller, there is a gap due to the curve. I've tried looking for rubber washers, but it's not easy to find 3" one. Any suggestions how to make this work please?

Can you get an accurate measurement with a pair of vernier callipers?
It often pays to use a hole saw a mm or so under the finished size you require as they usually cut big in steel.
A mag drill fitted with a Jacobs chuck would make life a million times easier too. 75mm is a reasonable size hole to bash through a bit of steel - how thick is the hull sides?
A gasket is easy enough, I can have a scratch around and see if ive something I can make a big wad punch with.
