So it was two years since I keelblacked the boat [It has a zinger finish on the hull] after stem/powerwashing the boat the finish was apart from battle scars pretty much as good as when I applied it. I have treated the battle scars with zinger after wire brushing to a shine and sprayed 4 more coats of Keelblack onto her. I will now leave it 4 years before docking again unless I do damage to something in the meantime. 4 coats took 2 hours to apply with a schultz gun and about 3 hours to clean me off afterwards!!!!! painful stuff

That's reassuring - I'd planned on using Keelblack next month but chickened out and Shane is gonna stick with tar.

One of your fellow boaters from your moorings is here to have some welding done to stop her sinking!! forgot her name but she goes into drydock on monday

I think her name is Joan she has a small brown dog and the boat is green I think, we met when we met you last year
