Good or bad?
Good for democracy, good for politics in general, good for the direction of the Labour party and as a result the political landscape as he drags it back to the left a bit, but bad for the elect-ability of the Labour party is my feeling.

personally I think the labour party could implode if he gets re-elected as leader. I suspect we will see it split, if I am right you could end up with two labour parties both un-electable and incapable of providing a genuine opposition. That would be bad news for the country, I am not blind to the dangers of a Conservative party without effective opposition

The party is self destructing even as we speak, the NEC waited til Corbyn and his supporters had left then took another vote effectively banning all new members from voting in the contest.
Blair is alive and kicking democracy in the head it seems.
I am probably being naive but you dont leave a meeting til all business has been finalised and you dont then restart the meeting to vote on something when half the committee is on the bus home.
Laughing stock and totally undemocratic.

I'm not altogether sold on Corbyn and I can't quite make my mind up about the position he seemed reluctant to promote on remain. As party leader, it must have been necessary to tow the party declaration of no referendum and therefore no Brexit.
It is better that he run again as party leader, because I think the alternative is new labour left-overs. Margaret Becket has been a bit of a twerp IMO. First she backs Corbyn as a candidate to be elected party leader and almost immediately says, - yes, but no, not really, seemed like a good idea at the time. Then, after the referendum, starts the ball rolling against Corbyn. Guilty conscience, maybe - for being fickle in the first place.
Corbyn represents a definite figure of opposition to the Conservatives. As we're in for a few radical changes following the referendum, Corbyn could fit in -should he win.

I can't imagine corbyn as a prime minister, no matter how hard I try. What I do see in him, is a very painful thorn in the side of Theresa May if only the Labour twats would get behind him. The past few weeks has shown me that Labour have become a fickle party who have lost their way. Largely ignoring the democracy that brought corbyn in. They should have played the long game, nurtured someone to challenge corbyn later on, before an election. I think corbyn could of lived with that, as I firmly believe even he does not see himself as a prime minister.
As it stands now, Labour look like complete twats scrabbling around the floor for crumbs.

Thats what I see as well, Corbyn dragging the party back to the left along with politics in the country in general to fight over the mythological middle ground but then someone taking over just before an election is called to present a more electable face.
The so called Labour MPs who plotted this failed fuckfest of a coup dont have the best interests of the country at heart, its all about power for their vested interests. Donors and pressure groups.

That statement could be used for pretty much any MP from any party, or for that matter, any politician anywhere.

I am glad that he is on the election list, it is only right and proper that he is allowed to ask the labour voters what they want, maybe he should now admit he is pro brexit and win with a landslide, perhaps then asking all his MPs to stand for re-election as well that would be interesting then

His principles, admiral as they may be, are killing the Labour Party. But hey, so what, he's still got his principles.
