Your like my long dead uncle who was in the Merchant Navy, when I was a kid I would pester him about countries he had visited, "tell us about the pyramids uncle John, tell us about the Leaning Tower of Pisa" even as an eight year old it didn't take me long to realise he knew fuck all. After he died my old man told me he only ever visited the "Red Light Areas" spunked his money and went back aboard,he had been around the world and saw nothing Would it help if I posted a photograph of myself in Red Square? Nope, no help at all. But then, I'm trying to align the latch with the lock on the door, so why you thought this photo would help is beyond me? ?? I'll get me coat...................

There are some of us that have been lucky in that our work has taken us to places that we could never have afforded to go. I am afraid the only parts of Russia I visited were the much less glamorous areas around Murmansk. but I did get to be in Brownsville Texas for the Charo days and Times square for New Year. Bourbon street in the French Quarter. Australia for the Melbourne cup and back packing in Fjordland in New Zealand. Not all of us wasted our opportunities rock formations in Sardinia (a hell of a lot more than twenty years ago........ probably more like 30+ ) Attachments:

Which is a pity because I liked the Rossiya with all that beautiful black marble in its impressive lobbies. It's a shame it was demolished.

Do you think it's the only word he/she/it can spell? It has to be said if they think so many of the members here are twats why are they posting here.

'tomsk' is clearly related to 'nutter'. Perhaps 'nutter' is actually the owner of a canal internet site and 'tomsk' is his sock puppet for Thundyboat. Anyway, obviously some prat-in-hat from Canalworld. I quite like the twats dropped in, like confetti at a wedding. By the way, how does Salty know my posts are still visible on CWDF? I guess Dan must be of the opinion that some if my posts had value. Fame and infamy at the same time! They rarely remove (hide actually they are still there) posts - only if they are offensive inflammatory etc etc. The rationale is that it destroys thread continuity.
