There's lots of cheap shit generators around nowadays, the kipor isn't as bad as the really cheap stuff. But the quality of build isn't great either. But some of the supermarket ones I've seen last less than a week of light use, which really is taking the piss.

Wolf. That was another old brand associated with quality that I've seen on cheap as chips shite generators.
At least the Kipper ones are not using an old brand name they are attempting to get their own brand recognition. Much more honest IMO

For me foxy, you and your stupid rules have ruined what was a bit of fun. So I won't be entering a photo.

After starting to use this kipor regularly, it's beginning to prove its reliability. It's also economical, I'm still not over impressed with the build quality.

I probably ought to try getting the old ig1000 running before leaving it for the rag and bone man. Neighbour had it outside for ages it was left behind when boat was sold. It won't start so I suppose I'll have to clean the carburettor. Not sure what they are like for servicing.

I doubt it will take much to get going though.

On production of rags you would be given a donkey stone. Who knows what that was for? While we are lurking in the olden days, we were visited by The Black Pea man with his motorbike trike, 2 wheels at the front, the insulated black pea tub between. We also had a hardware shop van, smelt of paraffin, just like the old hardware shops, not too long ago I went in one in a small village - oh the smell. There was also a horse drawn butchers wagon went around Rochdale till the late 70s. When I was very small a horse drawn Co op van used to visit. That led to a family saying, when doing a noisy pee in the chamber pot "tha sounds like the stores horse".

Do you miss the Plague too? nah, don't miss any of it. I prefer modern times, plenty of migrants to do our work for us and boost our economy, drive our buses, staff our hospitals and homes for the elderly. Oh! Hang on a minute......
