The knuckle dragger who shouted abuse at Anna Soubry has just been arrested, getting off a train on the way to the latest march. Nice one. Fair enough, so long as the Mentally Ill Shouty Anti-Brexit Gold Coin Trader is treated equally. I think we all know we aren't actually going to leave. In a battle between the Working Class and a dictatorship there is only ever going to be one winner. However, I do think a "People's Vote" is a good idea. In fact I've even thought up a name for it. We could call it "a referendum".

Finns pay around 66% tax from their income when you take all taxes into account (not just basic income tax and VAT, but stamp taxes, licence taxes, inheritance taxes...) The poor pay proportionately more than the rich, its wrong. Yes and no. Some rich people have earned their rewards, and good luck to them say I. Some people have got their loot by devious, underhand and criminal ways. Some people get their money via the Benefits Office simply because they are too lazy to work, sometimes claiming 'it is their culture' (ie. Somali women).

I feel it is important to leave the past in the past. Enough of referendums. The new vote should be more honest and down to earth. Accessible if you like. It should be called the "2019 EU plebiscite" Most people even the uneducated have access to internet so will be able to find out the meaning plebiscite /ˈplɛbɪsʌɪt,ˈplɛbɪsɪt/ noun the direct vote of all the members of an electorate on an important public question such as a change in the constitution. "the administration will hold a plebiscite for the approval of constitutional reforms" Got to be worth a go who knows it might result in a bigger majority.

I bet they have a firewood tax just to really piss people off. That reminds me, there's about 2,000 trees waiting for me to cut them down and turn them into firewood for us. Cost is petrol for the chainsaw, and new chains now and then. The trailer behind makes the car use 8 litres/100km instead of the usual 6.5. Apart from that (and our time) it is free. Here's a poem: Free. Tree. Did you like that?

Do you collect it off your own land or public land. Private land - the boss of the company I work for owns Kannus bus garage and the land around it, and wants the forest to be tidied up, just leaving the big trees which will eventually get sold (believe me, there's a lot of money in them - Pirkko owns forest and occasionally gets income from the sale of trees). Actually, his bus firm was sort of bought out, so it's difficult to say who exactly I work for. Really the 'big company' which bought his firm, but the smaller company still exists and my payslips come with that name printed on them. The other two drivers aren't interested, so it's only me with my chainsaw who is gradually clearing the forest. It's hard work, but very satisfying to bring lengths of trees home, put them on the saw horse, cut them into logs and stack them into the long 'cages' I made. Whole house is heated by logs in the stove. Savings on electricity have to be phenomenal.

Really the 'big company' which bought his firm, but the smaller company still exists and my payslips come with that name printed on them. I'd get the wood while you can, they'll soon have an Eastern European driving your bus. Yes, it's coming. Probably in about 20 years up here? I can't see them getting rid of me at the moment, though, although I have to ask about what's happening with me after Summer in May (contract for route is 3 years and this is the first, so I'll probably be driving it until June 2021). I have mentioned that in 1990 there was 100% Finnish drivers working for Helsinki City Transport (bus division), and that 8 years ago that had been reduced to just 20% Finns. The Estonians and Russians and other assorted foreigners were brought in to reduce costs, and that is exactly what has happened (although it is debatable with the accident damage they cause). Well, as has been pointed out a million times, you've got it in the UK too. And now, thanks to the influx of Pakistanis, Afghanistanis and Middle Eastern riff-raff, Finns have suddenly woken up to rape epidemics and Ali Baba grooming gangs. You couldn't make this up. Stupid Finns get what they order! Idiots. "Police are currently investigating three separate cases where migrant men are suspected of sexually abusing children in Oulu. In one case, a group of men is suspected of sexually exploiting a girl between 10-14 years for a period of several months. The abuse took place in private residences in Oulu. Seven men have been arrested for assault, aggravated sexual abuse of a child and aggravated rape, however no charges have yet been laid." - sound familar, social workers of Rotherham? yle.fi/uutiset/osasto/news/police_warn_of_online_predators_as_suspected_sex_abuse_cases_uncovered_in_oulu/10540902"The Police in Oulu have arrested eight enemy soldiers from the Middle East, suspected of brutally raping a Finnish schoolgirl aged between 10 and 14 and committing aggravated sexual assault on her during a long time." www.alandsnyheter.com/in-english/eight-enemy-soldiers-arrested-for-raping-finnish-schoolgirl-in-oulu/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6466423/Ten-year-old-girl-repeatedly-raped-foreign-grooming-gang-Finland.htmlFinland's Prime Minister Juha Sipilä says it is 'regrettable' but this is the chap who invited 35,000 Ali Babas in from... err... Sweden (country at war, apparently?!)... even offering some his own house to live in. He lied and did not in fact let them live with him.
