It's been nice on the River had a run down from Goring to Henley.
I did my usual antics at Henley bridge which involve getting Dulcinea going at about 4.5 knots and winding the helm over and doing circles using the bridge arches.
I really like doing that. Thames bridges are really nice items.
Always make sure no other boats around as would be a bit rude to sink someone !
Next week it's the Henley Regatta so I have ordered extra torpedoes.

Woke uo to Horrendous rain, some local flooding as we drove home.
Going to be a wet weekend and nice next week.
The garden is almost fine but one major problem. The veg is growing lovely and gher are even a few juicy strawberries, some little git as eaten all the leaves of the swede but did not touch anything else.
The real major is issue is my onions have a had a major identity crisis while I was away.
They have grown up to be tomato plants.

The weather 'forecasts' at the moment are a joke ! 10pm last night the forecast was dry until after 11am today, so we planned to head up the locks this morning. Woke to lashing rain and a changed forecast saying rain all day ... may as well not bother looking for what use they are ! I think we'll sit tight until tomorrow Rog

It's been grey for 4 days in Barmouth now, and very windy. Only a few showers though, still no significant rain, none since May.

enough rain the last couple of days to raise the river "fresh" a little. I've noticed that with the forecasts as well Rog, even the Met Office ones Broken cloud here (but ground wet from overnight rain) Would guess today will be sunshine and showers with occasional thunderstorms with hail

Well we headed up the locks anyway ... what's a little wind and rain to intrepid ditch crawlers like us ... I'm sure TD would agree that 'Alice' carries his own 'vomit inducing' sunshine with him everywhere Think we'll have a brew then go do the laundry ... seems as good a place to go on a wet day. Rog

Yet another vomit-inducing inconsequential worthless nobody. Did you have someone in particular in mind?

Weather is somewhat up and down. Moored about 5 hours from Cropredy and intend being at our βfestivalβ for Thursday. Have plenty of provisions and this mooring is lovely. Cows, sheep and swallows and ducks in prevalence. Also maybe an otter...

Laundry washed, dried and put away (not a Tuesday metanoia) ...and it's stayed dry. Feet up for a spell and then perhaps shops. Rog

That all sounds rather vomit-inducing.

twitter.com/i/status/1424038332070236160We've moved from Etruria to Westport - in the thundery rain for a trip up to Aldi... went around the museum yesterday which was interesting enough but I took umbrage at the woman on reception trying to make me wear a mask.... when the men in overalls weren't doing! They started up the engine whilst we were in there which was nice too. As we'd come down the Caldon through Hanley I noticed it was Stoke on Trent Gay pride - however, not being a proper gayer, I was happier going to the flint mill twitter.com/i/status/1424040599880142849
