We knew Charley-the original owner well through the BCNS society,a really lovely bloke.😁 Pretty sure he was on the BCN 24hr challenge we did in 2014. Do you know why he sold it? Was it to do with the batteries ?

Strange thoughts tonight. When you are in work, a major worry is that you might lose your job. And then when do and you've been out of work long enough you worry about getting a job. It's a bit like Brooks Hatlen in the Shawshank Redemption being unable to cope with leaving prison. And so it is here tonight, only in reverse. I'm thinking I have one more day of freedom then it's back to wage slavery.
Funny old world.

Will pass your mooring tomorrow I expect, hope to wave hello.

Brooks realised he'd been forced to concede control over decades ... you're the master of your destiny ... work or not is your choice. You've also got aspirations, dreams and loved ones ... including us Enjoy your Yorkies Rog

I'm thinking I have one more day of freedom then it's back to wage slavery. Funny old world. As you may know I lost my class 1 aviation medical in 2013 and had to take early retirement aged 57. Financially it was no problem because I had roughly a year’s salary-worth of loss of licence insurance - tax free! And early release of pension without deduction. But psychologically it was a blow because I wasn’t in charge of my destiny and I went from being some big cheese in aviation to being “that retired bloke”. I think at the time I didn’t realise how emasculated it felt, but in hindsight I did. fast forward about 2 years, getting quite happy with retired life, and now I am having nightmares. In my nightmares I have got my medical back and I have to go back to work. Oh the horror!

Well what can I say? Nice walk with the dogs .. however vino post walk glass of vino proved not a gud idea...normally vino is an excellent idea until its accompanied by one of those 'lectures'... Apparently I had not made an effort down here..I should be inviting all n sundry into my home for f=drinks etc(never done that in my life) ..apparently I should not be concerned about my cancer etc etc.... I found myself apologising and promising to do better... Ive come home and thought summit not right... What happened in my past in that some folk trivialised everything that was wrong seemingly has now resurfaced to affect my life now. I just don't get it though I guess its not surprising I do not share much with 'nearest n dearest' Take care out there. Anything you want to get out if your head just put it on here and I'm sure someone will be able to do a joke about it. Cancer sounds nasty. Not got any experience of that in my family as our speciality is depression and suicide and nasty plane crashes burning people to death. Hopefully you will be ok. More vino perhaps. Reading about your family has made me realise the light at the end of my tunnel promises to be a lot brighter than theirs... Up silly o'clock as for some strange reason Freya thought I needed a box of eggs in bed ...fortunately there was only 2 left and unbroken. She has a habit of checking out the kitchen sides on her sporadic security checks around the house. I decided cup of tea time

We are all here when u come home, just like a family so u can share the good n bad. Jobs provide the means to carry on with the lifestyle you have chosen, I think its human nature to have these thoughts and they can get u down. Once you start back, hopefully it'll all just slot into place again. Take care x

Sorry to disappoint you Tony, I'm not going to top myself, just be mildly pissed off about it, but thanks for the sentiment.
