Blue sky and sunshine, a lovely way for the day to start. Supposed to be rainy tomorrow according to the forecast, and a wet week too. We shall see. Rog

Decided a nip back to Berko by bus to wash a bag of stuff is called for.
The minor downside of hot and sunny is, it's slightly anti social not to change clothes daily π

Whilst in Berko I saw several old cars ... a Morris 1000 Traveller, a Mini and a Ford Cortina. Always think of the Cortina as being a large family saloon ... that is until you see it amongst modern cars. Modern cars are SO big ... even the little ones. Rog

Bloody freezing at the gliding club today - itβs supposed to be summer!
A busy evening with 2 engagements, free draft beer and chilli rice at the gliding club to celebrate a chapβs 50 years since first flight, followed by a memberβs 50th birthday BBQ down in the village. Then back to the club for more free beer. So Iβve now retired to the caravan, heater on and Iβm enjoying watching Coldplay at Glasto. A proper band!
Although theyβve suddenly gone a bit black! Must be a woke thing.

You were right The Cat Man , there's some lively walks in and around the Ashridge Estate. Sadly the Duke of Bridgewater Monument is closed for renovation until 2025 ... one day we'll get to the top but not today. Saw deer, a weasel and spotted loads of different birdlife. A lovely area and a nice cafe at the monument. Rog

Nice enough day.
I've been feeling a little queer for a few days. I did see a friend who said he had tested positive for the covids so he and his woman were resting as they were both feeling rather queer.
Sort of spoils things a bit. Mild headache, ears ringing and just general malaise. I never engaged in any of the covids malarky so not intending to test. I will be going to Asda later for some granny killing sport.
It will probably go away on a day or two.
Maybe I will die in a horrible scenario.

I think it would be a lot more interesting to die in some sort of rather shocking way like being engulfed in a huge fireball caused by dodgy lithium batteries.
Dying is something one only does once apparently so it might as well be interesting.
Gradually succumbing to thr A-Z of the covids and liver function breakdown and dying on a bed in a horrorspital seems very infra dig and boring to me.
