"Everything's not an anecdote. You have to discriminate. You choose things that are funny or mildly amusing or interesting. You're a miracle. Your stories have none of that. They're not even amusing accidentally. Honey, meet Jim. He's got some amusing anecdotes. And here's a gun so you can blow your brains out.
I could tolerate any insurance seminar. For days, I could listen to them go on and on. They'd say, "How can you stand it?" And I'd say, "'Cause I've read Jim's jokes. I can take anything."

On a lighter note: "Only slightly off subject here, but I’m looking for advice. I’ve got a moral dilemma here. I’ve never gone behind Mrs B’s back before (well, not that she knows of). However, she tells me that she’s not going to use her postal vote for the Euro election. I keep telling her she must do so – all the usual reasons for doing so etc. etc. I’ve tried thumbscrews, the lot before, but all to no avail. I’m seriously considering filling in her paper and sending off two votes for the Brexit Party. Can anyone see anything wrong with this or is it a breach of marital trust? After all, the good folk of Stoke Newington do this on a much larger scale and get away with it. It would also be for her own good." "Just do it, don’t even think about it. Do you think a Remoaner would hesitate for a second" "Check out Lutfur Rahman former mayor of Tower Hamlets, election fraud, financial irregularities and character references for a sex offender. The only surprise is that he hasn’t made a play to be an MP, its not like he isn’t qualified." "If the subversion of democracy is good enough for Mrs May and all the other EU quislings in Parliament, it should be good enough for you Mr B." A Quitling cheating? Well there a turn up for the books. I also hear that EU residents here have been cheated of their vote, some forms not sent out. Could it be that they were likely to vote for a remain party? I would have thought they would of done everything in their power to get them to vote. Probaly fake news anyway. Anything to stir up the social media Anyways you dont need the card to vote. Just rock up they have the details there. I rarely take mine as I can never find it.

How would the people sending out the forms know which people were likely to vote for the Liberal Democrats?

www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-48384000"EU citizens can vote in the country they live in by registering to vote and completing a UC1 form. But many complained of receiving the form late and of it not being processed by their local authority in time."

"Lisa van der Zanden, 26, who is from the Netherlands but has lived in Bristol for a year-and-a-half, said she had done research on the rules for voting in another country's European elections. She registered to vote but did not realise that she also needed to withdraw her vote from her homeland." Well, isn't is obvious to anybody that you can't vote twice in an election, you thick twat?

That's not what I said. However, how likely is it that turkeys would vote for christmas? ......Oh.....Hang on.....Turkeys weren't given the honest and full facts before they voted 3 years, ago...... just told they were going to a feast!

Many turned up to vote without their card, as I did. However because they hadn't signed the right form because it was withheld they weren't on the register. So lets not have fake fake news.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry at the ongoing debacle, along with the rest of the world.

I didn't think I was allowed to and during that time in my life I lived in fear of doing anything that might get me in trouble.. Provided the correct procedure is followed, it's perfectly legal to get another person to vote on your behalf, it's called "proxy voting".
