"Turkish barber shops. I live in between two small towns; there are six Turkish barber shops within three miles of where I live. Six! I know itβs the biggest, most obvious drug/human trafficking laundering front ever. The one I drive past most days always has the owner(?) outside next to his Β£100000 Range Rover, smoking and on the phone. This chap is not cutting much hair. At Β£8 per crop and various other options does not afford to pay for his awful choice of a car. Donβt get me wrong, I know of a lot of hairdressers who have made a very good living operating shops where there was a need. But six within six miles?. And Turkish. Iβm calling shenanigans on this. Nefarious twats all of them. Are the police just finished with everything now apart from hate speech?"
"As Iβve said before, my little town has three barbers, three kebab shops, and now a Turkish restaurant on one street, less than quarter of a mile. Did Turkey join the EU without us knowing? They seem to have little problem migrating here."

Hey! you guys wanna be careful what you say about Turkish barbers. I lived and worked in Turkey for 6 years, and during the regular visits to the local barber I was afraid, very afraid, when the time came to trim my ear hair.
No niceties - gas lighter comes out of the pocket, check it is adjusted to strong blowlamp flame, and then a quick flaming spurt into each ear from a distance of about 6 inches. Not painful, but a warm feeling accompanied by the smell of burning hair.
.............. oh, and the inevitable neck massage - no warning. Barber gently takes hold of the head with two hands as if he is adjusting your position, then suddenly a jerk to the left followed by a jerk to the right. Feels like if it was done a bit harder your neck would have been dislocated.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !
