Yes Dominic at RBS is your man - he will have a much better idea of what price to ask than we do.
Can I make one suggestion? It is obviously a very nice boat but before you take the photos for the advert, please do a mega-de clutter of the cabin. Shelves full of "stuff" give the impression of lack of storage space and claustrophobia. It is amazing how many adverts for boats one sees with dirty washing up, towels and cushions scattered, stuff everywhere and junk on the floor!

I am at home and the photos were some I have on file from when I was working on her.

Great Haywood boats at Wigrams. Boo hiss. Well if they are anything like Great Haywood boats at Great Haywood. Interesting they did a valuation and today I asked for a copy of their brokerage contract and was told I could reading it in their office. Now I am not going to do a round trip of 300+ miles to read a contract that I might or might not be happy about. Also of course I might need to seek legal advice, not might, their response oh well send it to a solicitor. My mind is saying what is in that contract that they don't want me to see until it is too late. I have emailed them asking for confirmation just in case someone has got it wrong.

I'm pretty sure (from memory) that Dominic sent me a copy of the agency agreement by email for me to sign. I could have backed out up to that point without signing anything. If you are correct about GH that sounds a bit fishy to me.

Well I know I am correct about being verbally refused a copy to read before I went to their office and that the place they expected me to read it was at their office. Now to wait and see if the email brings a copy of the contract or no, or just no reply. Interesting there has been no such problem with other brokerages.

It does make you wonder what they are trying to hide! My experience with Gt Haywood was as a buyer. They were very offhand and unfriendly. We waited around for nearly an hour to be allowed to see a boat we were interested in and in the end left, not wanting to wait any longer and feeling pissed off (and that we'd had a lucky escape!).

I bought via Tollhouse Boat Sales at Norton Junction. Tony is a really nice guy to deal with. A one-man business. After the sale was complete he still joined us to do our first 'trip'. www.tollhouseboatsales.com/

Hmmm well so much for an unmoderated forum! To D9, you can't be found guilty of libel for accurately reporting what the aggrieved party actually wrote.

I have received a reply from Great Haywood boat sales, I posted the complete email. However Delta9 is concerned that Great Haywood might come after him and quite reasonably he does not have the time to deal with it. Legally in my opinion Greta Haywood Boat sale have no grounds to go after me. To do so they would have to attempt to get a Norwich Pharmaceuticals order against the ISP for my details, very unlikely to succeed.
Basically the email confirms what I posted, anyone who would like a copy just PM me and I will send a copy
