English men buy houses and think they are castles. Altitude problem. Altitude? Too deep & clever for me, or maybe the dreaded auto correct struck again.......... Heightened sense of self importance. I blame the empire.

What is this "native culture" of which you speak? well it's mostly gone now ..... the rot started in 1888 when they moved the whole of Todmorden into Yorkshire. I mean at one time there were songs about the thriving culcher of Lancasherns but they are all in the past now I mean once they used to sing how "In Bacup now they do it grand, they can do the turkey trot with a cowheel in each hand" but now you can't even buy a decent pair of clogs. Shameful Eh?

No, I appreciate difference, people of all nations around me. Seriously how do you define English native culture? A lot of it is like this: www.rotherhambugle.com/2019/06/13/folic-acid-to-be-added-to-lambert-butlers-in-barnsley/But seriously, the right-wing is constantly pushing the line we are being 'replaced'. I grew up in the midlands and frankly a high degree of ethnic / asian population seems to me like normality. Is it because there is a rise in the asian population of London? It often seems to me this is another aspect of the media perception of London as representative of the entire country. At least that was one myth exploded by the referendum that surely even Jim cannot dispute...take cover... The rise in xenophobia is scary. Ah, I forgot about the ‘...phobia’ words.

My daughters go to a primary school in Stepney which is 98% Bengali. Yes we have loads of letterboxes. I try to get a look at their legs and breasts but it is difficult. I still think some of them are quite doable though. Anyway other than that its ironic because we have small class sizes. Upper class people like me usually pay to get small class sizes but no other white people want to use this school. I pay sweet FA for schooling which view as a personal victory. My kids are always happy and smiling when I collect them. To be fair they are blissfully unaware that all their classmates are terrorists. I have explained the worthlessness of religion over and over again so it should be ok.

Well the standard retreat of the racists is to shout that Islam isn't a race, so therefore they're not racist. The Race act doesn't cover singleing out a cultural group because of their religious beliefs so what word would you prefer?

culture of London .... Hmmmmmm !!!
It depends what part of London and also when ..... London has always been a hodgepodge of different races and cultures but with the odd exception it has always been a minority of incommers from very different cultures, the majority of incommers have been from different areas of Britain (inc Ireland)
So the influx of "non British" culture has been diluted and has only changed the mix gradually. an exception was the French Huguenots in the 16th and 17th centuries by the 18th century French was the largest immigrant population in London (Spitalfields and Soho) then there was another influx of mainly Catholics during the French Revolution. It took 200 years for London to absorb the French, who lets be honest are culturally not that different from us. Smaller numbers of many other races and cultures have been absorbed into London over the years without anything like the problems that we have seen nowadays (not without problems but Jewish refugees and of course a big influx of Ugandan Asians managed to blend in)
The problems we see now are (In my personal view) due to the sheer volume and the totally different mores and standards and also a determination to alter London (and Britain) to their views.
(and the sheer mind numbing stupidity of those that allowed/encouraged it to happen)

Yes I saw that.
Going back to the letterbox issue (I was using the term "letterbox for years before the Johnson man got hold of it) it is quite upsetting to have potentially attractive women covered up like this.
I don't really understand it. Attractive women are nice to look at.
Maybe they are all dogs but I doubt it.

What could possibly go wrong?
