Err, well since forever basically. Voters in Northern Ireland go to the polls, and make their choice. And that choice isn't to be ruled by Eire.
So when Corbyn wins the next election I hope you will back the majority and stop your wining.
That's quite funny. I'm not a great fan of the tory's at the moment to be honest but that man is unelectable. If labour could sort their act out, the tory's would have to vastly improve and two strong party's can only be a benefit to the country. It's also a shame the other party's can not be trusted in power. I think party politics has had its day.

Er... that would be Torys and parties...what you have there is a possessive apostrophe...its use implies something that belongs to the word preceding it...eg 'the party's guests'...'Tory' is an abstract noun even though it is a slang term...sorry...

You've lost me there. Or maybe you're still talking about the non-existent democracy that you imagine we're losing? Anyone who has read my posts over the years will know my views on this. However as you haven’t... ...we still have a vote. Our government has a choice. Ignore the result and PUBLICLY stick two fingers up at the concept of democracy millions of our elders died for in the wars (in the name of King and country)....or respect the voice and actions of the public. Which side are you on? Let's put it another way - do you believe that politicians ignoring the will of the people is a new thing? I simply don't believe we've ever had the thing you believe we are loosing.

I think doing it as blatantly probably is ...... at least in modern times

Tories. And their stories. All politicians fabricate facts to win voters.. Not exclusive to Tories.. Nowadays fact and fiction merge as one.... Sifting wheat from chaff an impossible task... Does anyone really think put another party in power and truth, honesty and openness will magically become the norm? That £££££££££££££££££ will materialise a right all the injustices ..more plods on the beat..more money for schools, the NHS, housing, trade deals, solve Brexit, increase size of prisons to put all the criminals in that our extended revamped police force will be catching when they solve all the crimes etc etc etc Ive missed shed loads our cos basically whoever gets in will just deal out more of what we have. Utopia does not exist..what we have is what we have. I feel so much better..sometimes a sentence hits the rant switch... i'll be quiet now....

I simply don't believe we've ever had the thing you believe we are loosing. Some more than others. I suspect what we are seeing between the likes of Boris and Bercow is exactly that battle. Those who are stuck rigidly to the old boys network and those who aren’t (bearing in mind when Boris was asked if he was a mason...he said no). I think the same battle is going on in the States too...
