It seems labour are still scared and 70 people voted against an election. Laws might be changed to force one through. Boris is ruling by might, might do this might do that, if anybody will let him. Scuttling round for underhand tactics to keep the failed tory project limping along. Hoist by a tory petard, fixed term parliament, needs 2/3 votes to call another. He handed power to labour, they are using it, all Boris and his camp followers can do is bluff bluster nasty noise and lies. Still, Boris can redeem himself on Friday and start to keep his promises. Anyone know of a comfy ditch, he can take his Teddy and a pillow, we aren't cruel.

To call it a tory project is pushing the boundaries.
Yes Cameron put it in his manifesto that if elected they would have a referendum.
They won the election with a majority win.
So proposed the European union referendum act.
They fully believed the result would be remain.
Every party supported this act except SNP.
The difference now is the torys want to leave because that was the result. Labour are quite happy to ignore the voters which is why they will not win an election.
After the next election jezza will not be the leader of the opposition as the lib dems will sadly take over.

Chuck the rest of 'em in the ditch whilst we're at it. Obscene salaries, obscene expense claims. Bury them in manure whilst still alive.

we promise this we promise that we promise we will respect the result of the referendum ..... no not that one, it was only an advisory just like the next one will be if we don't get what we want.
Bloody politicians, all they care about is climbing higher up the greasy pole and getting closer to the magic money tree.

I quite like the thought of a magic money tree but not sure I could climb a greasy pole to find it....
