They changed the rules so you can't approach them ... have to stand well back.
As I say, why should they receive preferential treatment ?

You're not allowed to ignore it ... that's in the changed rules ... that's why I make the complaint that NZ are treated as 'special'.

This was a good way to deal with NZ haka France won the game. I remember that one. There was also a team that turned their back. (Cant recall who it was) Owen's face today in this video says a lot. (0.42 seconds in)

for a purely personal reason I am hoping the final will be England/South Africa. I have some work planned for next Saturday, one of the key workers is Welsh ..... If they get to the final there will be no hope of him being there and I will have trouble finding a replacement in time (the rest of us are English ...... and are really not bothered)

I already did it went something like....yawn. I've better things to do than watch a load of over developed poofs kicking an oversized egg up and down a grass pitch.

People don't like rugby ... some don't like me .. I get it. But this thread was started by me about rugby ... strange place to visit just to take a pop at the game. Hope I'm not seen as 'holier than thou' for saying so Rog

That would be a bunch over under developed men kicking a ball up and down a grass pitch. The difference being that, whatever the level, skill is evident, beyond tactics.

I am happy to talk rugby. Football is a funny old game, and after last nights horror show. I'm definitely a rugby fan for the weekend

They were accepting the challenge, that's all. The NZ haka is more of a 'marketing ploy' in my view ... I remember the seventies before the money men got involved, an embarrassing shambles. No problem with them doing a little dance ... but they've had their anthem ... why should they receive preferential treatment ? Rog As your probably aware NZ arenβt the only team to perform a haka. I like to watch it and to me itβs a great tradition that I think has been around for many years. I hope it carries on being performed.

No issue with Tonga and Samoa ... native peoples doing 'their thing'.
Less so with NZ.
