I was almost hospitalised. My doctor recommended codeine linctus but it didn't require a prescription. When I'd staggered as far as the second chemist only to be told they also had 'just sold the last bottle' I insisted they call me an ambulance instead. The chemist then miraculously found the 'last' last bottle. Which was wonderful stuff. That's nothing. I staggered 3 miles to the hospital for the x-ray. Maybe if you had left the beer alone for a day you could have walked to the hospital.

Perhaps a suitable punishment would be to put him in a refrigerated trailer and let him freeze to death. After sticking red hot mooring pins in his eyes.

It's too boring when people who chose to smoke or were immune suppressed in the womb keep falling down. According to Uckfield Radio it's the 5G waves that cause you to fall down. "These people suddenly just fall over."

Good for suppressing a dry cough, but that can be the worst thing if your lungs need to cough out phlegm. It also generally suppresses your breathing which would be very bad if you had pneumonia. A friend of mine had pleurisy, very painful he said.

As I understand it pleurisy is what you get just before pneumonia. I had a very painful dry cough. That linctus was so nice I mean good.

A friend of mine had pleurisy, very painful he said. As I understand it pleurisy is what you get just before pneumonia. I had a very painful dry cough. That linctus was so nice I mean good. I shared a flat with a childhood friend who became a junkie then gave up. It was a lovely flat in Clifton. He gave up the junk and self treated with...a few bottles of codeine linctus. Then he moved out to his mummy's house in Wales leaving me to deal with his cats and let his room. His room was furnished with enormous wardrobes and chest of drawers, every single one was packed with empty codeine linctus bottles. He'd drive all over to get his supplies, up to 100 miles doing rounds of chemists in more rural locations. I tried a bottle...yeah ...very relaxing. I think it's more that pleurisy can lead to pneumonia because part of your lungs isn't being pulled to suck air in. You can arrive at pneumonia in a number of ways.

I had pleurisy on both lungs quite badly as a result of pneumonia and my blood tests were beautiful to look at showing how the body attempts to deal with it. I was convinced it was a virus and ready to deal with it however low it took me but the quack told me it was a bacterial one which you can't get rid of. I fancied the fight at the time to be honest but you have to bow to medical knowledge even if Having massively reduced air intake to the lungs is quite nasty and the feeling of choking is not ideal but if it had been a virus it would be better to beat it naturally than rely on human made remedies. If it had killed me then so what? Another person gone it happens every day.

Tiger is going to be 'homeless' soon, if your cousin wants 'someone' just to phone them if it looks like it is sinking, give me a shout.

It is a substance commonly abused, this is why everyone had 'just sold the last bottle'. I actually found it amusing my doctor recommended I buy some - he was convinced I was an abuser of many different things. I recently had to endure much abuse from my new doctor who clearly had read his notes of thirty years previously. Doctors can really fuck you up. This is why they are best avoided.
By the way, pleurisy is the result of the pleural membrane, a separation of the lungs from the ribs, becoming punctured, which allows the lungs to rub against the ribs with painful results. Apparently the next step is pneumonia. Or summat.

Apparently the next step is pneumonia. Or summat. Totally agree about the doctors. One of them who had received my woman on a non-urgent appointment asked her "so are you pregnant again" despite her only being pregnant twice before and not being pregnant on that occasion. He was basing his comment on most of the furrin looking women breeding like rabbits in the area. Later the same doctor explained to me that despite the fact I have a moderate drinking problem "just drink wine if you want to". I never drink wine. Presumably he had profiled white people in the area and assumed they are all pissheads who drink wine rather than beer. He was the one who told me to go to hospital about the Pneumonia and got the penicillin prescribed which to be fair did sort it out. Another doctor accused me of being anorexic. I pointed to the bit on her computer screen where it said Aspergers syndrome diagnosed 1999 and she blanked me completely. Just because I was a bit thin. Not talking skeletons.
