Is he getting a boat then? We still have our windlasses. Kept them as souvenirs or if we hired again. We left the ones the boat came with on the boat. I still have a windlass ..I keep meaning to take it to Mark when I go on Ellis but my bag always weighs a ton and a windlass is well..heavy My intention was to have the windless and all dads tools welded into something by a local metal worker but it was far too expensive and then son and I started using dads tools for his van conversion

Worcester. Severn floods. Next. Nope, you might have passed it on your latest jolly though. River Thames flood markings at Wallingford. We did stop in Wallingford for one night. Not enough moorings there, the town councillors obviously abhor boats stopping and boaters shopping.

Windlasses are only Ā£15 and 'silly tiller pins' are always available on eBay.*
I thought Mark was 'OK' when I have met him, polite and friendly. Same with Ellis. Best not to keep on moaning and move on, eh?
*or just stick a screwdriver in the hole!

With every break up there is adjustment time... Time for reflection and perhaps sharing comments among friends..whether on line or in real I don't see Marks posts as moaning but each to their own perspective... Little bit of compassion and empathy go a long way in this world...

Is that Denham Deep lock ? Rog Pretty sure it isn't. Denham has hand rails across the bottom gates and doesn't have so many black n white posts.

In the style of a lock keeper maybe.

No a dragonfly....my dad and I watched one 'hatch' and dry its wings..it was one of those big green ones..it slowly made its way to the top of this small stone chimney in dads garden where..... A bird got it... One of those pure memory moments
