I have come across some "lost" photographs that I took from the tug Dockman during the rehearsal for the Queens Jubilee flotilla (the year before) I took some pictures of a few narrow boats that were exploring down stream as we were heading back to Tilbury. I originally meant to put them up on CWDF but I "lost" them on the computer and I have only just found them again. If anyone knows who they are they might want to tell them about them so they can get copies if they want Favala by mudlarker, on Flickr 111 by mudlarker, on Flickr narrowboat Frances Anne by mudlarker, on Flickr Flora Dora by mudlarker, on Flickr

I know at least two, Zavala and Panacea but I am no longer in contact with either owner.

The narrowboat section of the Diamond Jubilee Pageant was organised by the Vice Commodore of St Pancras Cruising Club. You can contact him on vicecommodore@stpancrascc.co.uk and I'm sure he will be delighted to see the photos and pass them on.

OK, we may have wonky diesel pipes left uncorrected by all the previous owners of our boat, but it does seem to me to be recklessly stupid to go along the lower Thames in a boat that has a flat bottom and is designed for the flat, level, untussled waters of canals. I had already expected this thread to mention bridge-bashing at Blackfriars.

I thought we had agreed to steer clear of that subject.

I thought we had agreed to steer clear of that subject. Steer left or right of the subject though?

We could request green to green if we had a VHF.
