Would look a whole lot better if Boris was tied to the cross and being fed by an oxygen bottle!
Apologies if my view is unwelcome.

Did you mean oxygen or whisky?

I was impressed with the church being locked up, that the trouble has been taken to 'dress' the church yard ... let alone twice.
I agree ... the crown of thorns and red drape were powerfully symbolic.

It comes under the "upbeat" terminology for some people.
Yes I know.

This looks like a nice place to go boating. Norway fjords.
It's about a week non stop London to Kristiansand on my slow boat at 5 knots.
Hmm.
Got autopilot, AIS and radar.

Had a surprise phone call yesterday from friends from our yard.
They were spending the winter in southern Spain in their camper when the crisis hit and were effectively driven out of the country, and had to make a dash through France to the tunnel.
They made it back to their boat on 24 March, the day after the UK lockdown.
Self isolated for fourteen days, they've emerged sympton free and well ... not bad for a couple in their seventies ... a lovely surprise to hear them both.
Apparently the yard is locked down so should be as safe as anywhere.

For the chocolate aficionados.
Mr Cadbury met Miss Rowntree on a Double Decker. It was just After Eight. They got off at Quality Street , and had a drink in Mars bar. He asked her name. 'Polo, I'm the one with the hole' she said with a Wispa. ‘I'm Marathon , the one with the nuts' he replied. He touched her Cream Eggs, which was a Kinder Surprise for her. Then he slipped his hand into her Snickers, which made her Ripple. He fondled her Jelly Babies and she rubbed his Tic Tacs. Soon they were Heart Throbs. It was a Fab moment as she screamed in Turkish Delight. But, 3 days later, his Sherbet Dip Dab started to itch. Turns out Miss Rowntree had been with Bertie Bassett and he had Allsorts!
