This is a little working tug that belongs to a couple on our mooring (they live on another boat) I think it is a real smasher. It was across our side of the creek the other day picking up a barge to go up river. I have a real soft spot for working boats like this, you can keep your gin palaces, this is the sort of thing I like ! SAM_0489 by mudlarker2, on Flickr

They'd be up in arms on cwdf, he's crusing with his fenders down. Real boaters don't do that, mtb will be after him.

I've always thought this a good looking boat, on the 10 mile bank Great Ouse.

I agree little tugs like this, definitely have something about them. Tim leeches tug kennet which I have seen in person and is a gorgeous little boat. Still for sale I believe if anybody wants to make the dreams reality.

My favourite tug tiny thing pretty sure it was called Tom Thumb before. I used to see it on the Thames around Sunbury in the early 90s but it went missing in the early noughties. Anyway on our yearly pilgrimage to Oxford (what a hell hole) I spotted it by Salters' old sheds so glad to see its still going. About 18ft or something. I was told it had a 6 pot Thorneycroft (probably Leyland) in it.. Attachments:
