It seems itβs going to take someone being killed by carts wilful lack of preventative maintenance before they do anything. A corporate man slaughter case with Parry in the dock, should make him think. Toddbrook could have resulted in hundreds of deaths. Locals could see and hear that water was leaking through the dam but the terrorist card was played to prevent any disclosure of what inspections were showing. CRT has tried to excuse its poor maintenance by claiming that BW were just as bad. However, the Defra report provides two photos of the Toddbrook spillway as examples of good and bad veg maintenance. Bw - good. CRT -bad.
