I watched it - and looking forwards to sauntering along the L&L next Summer - if only we can sneak past the Bridgewater's Ferocious Fido! The minion of the tax-dodging Peel Group. Plenty to look forward to. its a great canal. The section between Barnoldswick and Gargrave/Skipton is stunning.

It's a pity the actual canal journey is garbled and cut up so much by the editing. But I suppose that's TV.

Are you finally coming over the top of the Rochdale? Last time, a spit of rain and you scurried home. There's nowt as grand as t'summit pass on't Rochdale on the L&L.

No - probably not and possibly never - as u know we were heading for Littleborough but got only as far as Lock 12. I don't think u have been following my posts (?). Have you seen our 7 Summer Adventure photo albums posted here?
We have seen The Summit many times from the train, and I rode a bicycle over 3 years ago - it doesn't beat the Huddersfield Narrow Canal scenery.
Now we are where we had planned to be for this Winter, on the Llangollen, all to ourselves out of season. Leeds & Liverpool next Summer, and then down to London for Summer 2018.
