There is also this which I filmed on Tuesday. After that it has been raining every morning. A sound track for you... Yuk. This is more my kind of thing: Horses in the air Feet on the ground Never seen This picture before* (*which was true - it was a mystery as to whether a horse's feet were all in the air at the same time, before the Age of Photography)

So you don't approve of Steak, home cooked chips, mushrooms and tomato to celebrate Diwali then... Diwali is a festival of lights mainly celebrated by Hindus. The festival usually lasts five days and celebrated during the Hindu Lunisolar month Kartika (between mid-October and mid-November). One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, Diwali symbolizes the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance". The festival is widely associated with Lakshmi, goddess of prosperity, with many other regional traditions connecting the holiday to Sita and Rama, Vishnu, Krishna, Yama, Yami, Durga, Kali, Hanuman, Ganesha, Kubera, Dhanvantari, or Vishvakarman.
" Knowledge over ignorance" eh? Better ask the gods about that. Yama Yumi Durga! Gawd.

Has anyone seen Larry The Cat recently? So many cats, so few recipes and Dominic has them all. He's stealing that box too, it's "our" property. Bring your own plastic bags in when you're going Cummings

Wtf is it with mainstream media?
Every time the government hits a sticky patch the media roll out Gordon Brown for guidance. Really. Bankrupted the country, never won an election, sold our gold, started illegal wars, wrecked the pension pots of millions and basically stunk the house out.

As prime minister I'm not sure he started any wars did he? My post does not make reference to him being prime minister. As to his support for the Iraq war: “Brown was committed to the Iraq War, but said in a speech in June 2007 that he would "learn the lessons" from the mistakes made in Iraq. Brown said in a letter published on 17 March 2008 that the United Kingdom would hold an inquiry into the war”.

The problem with an internal inquiry is no one trusts it, and the big disadvantage with independent inquiries is you are not sure what they will conclude, can’t be trusted to come to the ‘right conclusion’. A bit like the internal investigation into anti-Semitism which whilst finding the occasional problem concluded there was nothing to worry about. Strange how an independent enquiry came to a very different conclusion. Politician’s hate inquiries, when forced they promise to hold one, but only when the time is right...........

You're correct, it doesn't however how many wars did he start as say chanceler of the exchequer? He may have supported the Iraq war but he certainly didn't start it.

Do you not think he had a say as a minister at the time, a minister that would be responsible for finding the funding? He was as much involved in starting the war with Iraq as Tony Blair.

Although only TB could actually start it, however many people were involved in the decision. Its all pedantry though. On a side note we haven't declared war on anyone since 1942.
