Condensation no problem if there is a seal. ] Where do you keep the seal when not gobbling up the condensation? Would it just swim along behind the boat? I suppose to be fair they are fairly easy to tame. You could do displays with it while not using the sauna.

The cure for the black and pink mould is to remove the moisture asap. We use a rubber squeegee blade to remove excess off the walls and shower pan. Also a squirt of mould remover as soon as any shows, stops it in its tracks. The problem in a boat shower room is that there isn't really enough ventilation to dry it out quickly.

It's fairly obvious to me that the sink area isn't dirty ... it's certain 'hair products' splashed about.
Best no one mentions it.

I've recently used that very stuff in my bathroom at home. It's easy to fit together, can be cut easily with a small-toothed wood saw and any fiddly bits sorted with a Stanley knife.
Fixed it on to the board with clear silicone, which worked well and in a boat would probably allow for a little movement. For a wet room I suggest running clear silicon down the vertical joints too.

To be honest it looks a bit cheap and nasty to me. And fake marble (or any sort of marble) is a bit 1990s. But on the other hand, no point in being buried with quality stuff. Black seems to be more in vogue at the moment but this would tend to make what is already a small and somewhat dark space look even smaller and darker. I thought that plain white cladding would look a little slab-sided. At 5mm thickness it is the same thickness as the existing cladding, so I would be able to re-use much of the existing trim. I also think that it would be quicker and easier to install than ceramic tiling, as well as being hardier in the environment in which it was installed and more cost-effective, which I freely admit is a necessary consideration. Finally, with the supplier being just up the road in Atherstone it will not entail huge logistical difficulties to source them. But I accept that we are all different. To me, fake rivets look as cheap and nasty as fake marble, the only real difference being that the whole world can see them. I did Jaynes bathroom in something similar, in our case it was a condensation problem we wanted to sort. I used a sharp stanley knife to cut it, we had removed plaster from the walls when taking the tiles off, so we went the whole hog and went down to the brick! I glued insulation boars the brick and then cladding to the insulation board, internal joints were silicon sealer and around the window a tight angled joint. That wasw 5 years ago or so it still looks good has stopped condensation and is noticeably warmer in there good luck, As an afterthought my boat bathroom is 2 mm plastic sheeting its black with grey in it, its dark and now 11 years old, with a clean and car polish looks like new though horses for courses Vince

Porcine insulation is nothing new but I have not heard of people using wild ones before. They are usually farmed specifically for the purpose of insulating cavities in buildings.

Never touch the stuff.
Not into that sort of thing at all.
I like a bit of abv in the blood but nothing else and definitely not too much.
ETA I am amazed that someone as obviously well educated as you would not have heard of this use for dead pigs.
It's a byproduct of the bacon trade.
Always good to use everything to the maximum which is why you always print the receipt on both sides of the paper.
It saves paper.
