I have an invertor in my shed, its a Victron 800watt, does the stand by bit and has nothing wrong with it, I just needed a bigger one to run the hair dryer.
its doing nothing so if anyone wants it for 8 cans of the finest lager, just give me a shout.
The 12v cabls are not very long, I ad to cut them to get the thing out, so will need extending, or wiring up to a bus bar, reckon they are about 6" from the body.
Collection from Bedworth, south Leicester or boat will be moving from Nantwich to Bedworth next spring.
blah blah blah...

I'd happily pay more than 8 lagers for it but it's a bit of a trek from deepest darkest Buckinhamshire to Beduth.
Will check Google maps.
I had actually been planning to get one of these inverters as it happens. That exact model...

In all seriousness, if Andrew decides against it then I wouldn't mind it, my inverter is only 350w and while it copes with most electrical items, it struggles to power my electric hair tinters.

It's too far for me and you are local so go for it if you want to.

It's just a bit far for me to drive there and back. If my chauffeur had his license back I might do it but looks like a couple of weeks before he'll be back at the wheel. So you take the inverter that's fine with me..

Looks good to me although maybe a little more complicated than the Sterling inverter I have which simply has a plug socket built into it. I'm sure I'll be able to work it out though, I'll have a look for some connectors right now.

How far from your 240v board to where it will go?
If itβs not far then just a kettle leaf off an Amazon/EBay will suffice.
Would look for a website to make the 12v cable up with clamps maybe, just plug and play then, will need to know how long it has to be and the clamps will need 5mm holes.
