I'm wondering if he wants the bigger inverter to be standalone and used mainly for hair maintenance products while retaining the existing -rather nicely wired in- smaller unit for normal domestic boat useage.
Hence the trailing lead IEC adaptor wire linked to.

Those battery cables definitely won't be too thin. The only worry is that in the photo that appear to be wired to form a dead short. Well spotted. π

If you want the isolator to be used will still need a couple of connectors to crimp on the positive. OK, if the inverter is still up for grabs then I'll put a ring on it, I'll get the cable ordered up and look for some connectors. If you can give me a hand then so much the better but don't worry if you can't, I'll work it out eventually.

Itβs all yours, Iβll pop over next weekend. Looking at what you have in place it shouldnβt be any bother.
If something is missing I have two week off so can always pop back.

Ok, off to order the bits now. If there's anything needed on the day I can always pop to MVC.

It's only fair to mention at this point that it is "inverter" not "invertor".
ETA re the topic title. And it is 850w. Or possibly 850VA.

Fab, thank you, I've bookmarked that. Pleased to tell you that the Ronco electric hair tinter is working perfectly off of the inverter.
