Teacher asks kid at school to draw a horse and cart.
The kid just draws a horse.
Teacher asks why.
"Because the horse will draw the cart" is the answer.

It's interesting that it's about moorings as I did a FOIA request via that website when my residential mooring was suddenly made smaller with no reduction in mooring fees. Originally it was a 22m mooring but CRT now claim it is 17.4m which is the exact length of my boat but the boat on the mooring before me was 22m long and it is the same yearly price as the other two moorings which are 22m. Bunch of scammers best avoided. My FOIA request, which was refused is this one. www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/moorings_data_for_andersons_wharUnfortunately they cleverly avoided adding the size of the mooring to the contract and no I could not find it on the way back machine but there are three moorings all the same size and all the same fee. Mine can not be a different length to any of the others. That is impossible.

2013 saw Richard Parry making public statements on making the Canal and River Trust “open, and transparent”, what a load of bullshit. This recent update just goes to show what a mendacious nasty organisation CRT has become. Time the CEO and Chair resigned.

Im a little thick and struggle with these legal things, am I right in reading that someone requested information from crt who refused on some bullshit which then got upheld, but than another appeal overturned it, but now crt are appealing the decision?

Not quite right, the final 'another appeal' has initially overturned things but asked for further submissions to be made relating to the decision to overturn the upheld appeal... Think from memory the final hearing is due sometime during/after May.

Have the tribunal findings, and C&RT's submissions, been checked for anything that could be helpful in undermining the use of and the reliance on S.43(3) of the Transport Act of 1962 every time the already unenforceable Licence T&C's get pissed about with yet again ?

The short answer to that is no. CRT claimed that its mooring business fell outside the scope of the FOI Act as it applied to them. The Information Commissioner agreed with them but the tribunal have overturned the Commissioners decision. The decision should make CRT more open to scrutiny. That is assuming that CRT don't appeal.

He's pulled a fast one with bridgewater canal company too. See my post "new" Bridgewater agreement.
I've seen a lot on here, and the other place, about legal action against the untrustworthy Trust. Obviously such action is expensive. I'd like to try to get a definitive decision on use of The Bridgewater Canal.
Can anyone tell me how to go about it. And is there any funding available from boating organisations to help with the cost?
Any help and or info would be greatly appreciated. We need to make a stand here. This is the thin end of the wedge.
