"The Government has told bereaved families it is too busy dealing with the coronavirus pandemic to launch an immediate public inquiry into its handling of the manufactured crisis." "Too busy? What, handing out expensive deals to their mates, making up the number of deaths, running totally inaccurate computer models, opening and closing Nightingale hospitals without ever needing them. That kind of busy?" "This is like allowing a criminal to decide when an investigation into their crimes will begin." "Inquiry by an independent system run by government.. Lol" "Oh, but he has enough time to tour the country dressing up in high viz jackets and doctors outfits. Pretending to be in vaccine laboratories. He has enough time to have his flat decorated like a tart's boudoir. But not enough time to face a public inquiry over this shit show he has presided over. He's finished, an absolute failure of a PM. Unprofessional, clueless, gaslights people and bullies them. The guy isn't even a conservative he's a left wing globalist." I think he was a right leaning libertarian rather than a conservative. Now, because his ego overrides his calling to public service and right leaning political instinct, and right leaning libertarians cannot be elected, he's become a left leaning globalist. I suspect he'd become an out and out communist, or even lead a tyrannical regime if doing so would keep him in power.

I can't see the connection between this and religion? Belief in the Covid virus and all its mutations, and believing everything the government tells you, is more of a religion than based on science and logic? Well not really, since religion requires the belief in and worship of some type of deity. In WW2 people donated saucepans in the belief that these would be used to make aeroplanes. This belief was mistaken but this mistaken belief did not constitute a religion.

I can't see the connection between this and religion? Kids are told that their parents' religion is a fact from the time they leave the pram. This is often reinforced by the kids being forced to go to a school of Islamic, Catholic, Jewish etc. etc. persuasion. Beliefs that lack a deity hook their victims in exactly the same way. They surround said victims with propaganda disguised as facts, and deny victims an equal exposure to facts/ propaganda that counter their belief. Very often, victims will be presented with the notion that anyone presenting an argument that differs from the desired one is an inferior human being, compared to the enlightened ones. And so, people can be coerced into belief in a religion, belief in a political system, belief in anything by way of the disguise of the bigger picture, manipulation, brainwashing and denigration of social status for non believers. It's all the same.

But I think they were given so much scrap they couldn't process it all and some was dumped in the themes estuary and the solent, allegedly. It is important to note the files relating to this were destroyed after the war. So some cover up work was done.

I guess donating saucepans etc had the effect of making the population feel they were doing 'their bit' to defeat Hitler

'Religion' is simply a label put on one set of beliefs that isn't applied to another set of beliefs that come about in identical ways.

No it isn't. All religions are faiths but not all faiths are religions. 'Religion' is simply a label put on one set of beliefs that isn't applied to another set of beliefs that come about in identical ways. It becomes a religion when small minded men seeking power and wealth see an opportunity. Mine is the one true faith, follow me, give me your money, do as you are told.
