I didn't know about the dangers in Artex when I removed it from every wall in Horror House... Once I found out...I tried not to think about the what if. Also one day I sat in clouds of choking dust as a plaster wall collapsed behind me From what I can gather - and @loddon sort of confirms it; by no means is it certain Artex will be really bad for you, chances are you'll be right. Bloody plaster and masonry dust is hateful stuff though - I remember knocking a doorway through in our old house - didn't have anywhere near as good dust protection then as I have now!

Artex applied after about 1990 is generally ok and no asbestos in it, between 80 and 90 there are no guarantees that it will be Asbestos free. Before 1980 all bets are off and it probably will have Asbestos in it. Hence in a house built in 1986 we got ours tested Β£150 well spentπ

Old lino tiles contain asbestos too. Had some tested and removed. 70s build.

For what it's worth ... my silly poll shows over 70% will continue in some circumstances, with mask wearing. I'm not very surprised ... a bit like forming a queue, it's the sort of thing MOST of us just accept and do out of a form of politeness. We'll see on Monday how it goes Rog

Loads of supermarkets, shops etc in England are going to 'encourage' the continued wearing of masks.I can see the sense in close proximity places like hairdressers & dentists...but big shops where there's lots of space, nope. We should be trusted to use common sense-my masks will be in my handbag should I feel the need to wear one.

I was gonna go out with gloves n rubbish bag to see how many folks just ditched masks...well once son up to watch dog, that is However as we r a few weeks behind hopefully I can take White Wolf when we hit that date. I just think a lot of folks will just chuck. I do pick up and bin those I see now

Me, being a mere baby on TB and am now in my 40s. The demographic of the group is certainly shifting towards elderly.

Spoke to the lovely lady at the Prince of Wales pub (Joules) as I was 'booking in' for track and trace, and asked if they'd be continuing the book-in and masks process next week.
Apparently their instructions are that masks will be left to individual choice, and that the QR code will continue to be at the door for people to register on the app (if you have it).
