Lots of faffing, hope mine is easier suspect it could be hole in condensor/rad hope its not compressor as they are expensive. I was quoted north of £800 for a compressor from Eurocarparts (top tip - never go there) so £220 seemed like a snip. Sometimes the internet is a good thing.

This hot weather is doing my head in but luckily I just found a really good idea on the internet. If it's as hot at Audlem as it is here, I'd be extremely cautious to avoid poaching any sensitive bits. Rog

It is interesting (and concerning) that Europarts now owns ASAP Supplies.
I have been using ASAP (off and on)for over 20 years, I wonder how it will change

26 degrees in the saloon, there is an airflow but it's warm air coming in
I tried putting the thermometer in the fridge for a while, when I brought it out showing 15.5 degrees, it felt lovely and cool ...... unfortunately it quite rapidly climbed up to the mid 20's again.
The car is in full sun as there is no shade to park in and the car thermometer hit 37 degrees !!!
This mornings work on the awning works quite well and just stops the skylight absorbing all the heat. So this afternoon has been just chillin !!! I had quite a shock, I was told I needed to drink water to prevent dehydration but fortunately I have discovered watering down the chilled white wine with cold mineral water is exceedingly nice, with the bonus that the bottle of wine lasts longer !!!

The guy who owns ECP seems to have the same business model as the crook who runs JD Sports amongst other things. Once upon a time there was a great cycle brand called Muddy Fox. The business was acquired by the aforementioned who ran it into the ground selling nasty junk instead. The same is sadly true of Evans Cycles, once highly respected, but nowadays a thoroughly horrible company to approach.

I drink over two litres of water on a normal day, on a warm day it's over three, but I do carry a refillable water bottle around with me all the time. It does mean I have virtually stopped drinking alcohol which I think is a good thing.

It's been a scorcher here too - currently 28 inside and out according to the remote thingys...
We've been in to Manchester and back on the train - going in at 9.30 was ok but coming back around 1 was awful - masks and a feeble attempt at air con doing less than nothing.
It was made worse by bumping into Andy (as in my ex)as we went back to the station - luckily, we had a train to catch so a stop and catch up natter was not possible. It seemed odd just shouting hello and walking off.
Anyway - mission accomplished and replacement phone now setting up . I've even saved 30 quid month by ditching the back up mifi point and sim in the tablet.
On the plus side - when it's hot, sexy men do tend to take their shirts off so at least there's some eye-candy for a middle-aged puff to embrace ;-)

Started my gardening job at 7 this morning to avoid the worst of the heat. 10.00, I was done. I don't mean finished, but the sweat running into my eyes and all over my glasses convinced me to finish off tomorrow. One of the jobs was to clear a load of branches from the lawn the owner cut a week ago, and launch them over the cliff into an unofficial tip. All went well until I uncovered an adder. Nearly shit myself initially but it slithered off, no problem. On reflection it's made my day, I've never seen one before.

Karimoor made great quality gear at a good price. Now a brand of sports direct, I wouldn't ever touch the stuff for serious gear.

Who lives in a big house in Cheshire, I expect. Who makes nice rucksacks these days?
