I remember the photos. Nice sexy yellow moped, handsome bloke on it with a boat named after a romantic potato in the background.
Denial is the key.

I've been watching a series of vlogs around these issues involving Alex Payne and James Haskell. Just watched an interview with Marlie Packer ... what a hero ! Equally the chat with Craig Maxwell-Keys ... top man and a great referee in development. We are what we are and don't need to apologise . We should celebrate our individualism and rejoice in our situation Rog Never an issue on the field fir dear Nigel 🤪🍻 I’d love to go to one of his comic turns 👍

'Promoting the rights' of minority groups will do nothing other than to bore/ slightly annoy those, the majority, who couldn't care less about these things. It's only a tiny minority who get het up about turd burgling and the like. The rest of us are fully in support of consenting adults doing exactly as they please. In any case there are no 'rights' to fight for. Many of these activities are given special protection in law already 'protected characteristics', something white heterosexual men are not entitled to.

In my book, there's only one thing worse than a poof, and that's a ginger poof. Says the man on a yellow girlie moped - admit it... you are just obsessed with me... it's understandable - I've declined worse offers I suppose over the years - alas, I've always ben a 'one man man' and you keep missing the window of opportunity... which is understandably only ever a small one due to my alure. tell you what, we could always "sext" - pm me your number and I'll send you some photos later

Why do they feel the need to keep banging on about it, their preferences are nobodys business other than theirs, what a weird world it would be if all the hetrosexuals decided to bang on about their preferences all the time I think live and let live, Phil I suspect they feel the need to keep banging on about it because unfortunately other people make their preference their business, and often not in nice ways, with their aim being to be allowed to live and let live, something which is not the case at the moment in some circumstances. Here are some thoughts: 1) Gay people are under-represented in mainstream sports like football and rugger. Why is that? Is it because the limp wristed prancing poofs are no good with that sort of ball and don’t make the team? Or is it because they did make the team but due to institutional homophobia in footie and rugger (more the former I suspect) they feel they have to hide it and lead a false life? The latter I suspect 2) Gay people doing things that heterosexual people would consider entirely normal and unquestionably within their rights such as holding hands with one’s partner in public, or dressing in an unconventional way, continue to be subject to violent physical assault at a rate which depends on the current zeitgeist, in other words depending on whether the assailant can feel righteous about it, whether their mates will approve and whether they think they can get away with it. Nearly all people carrying out these attacks are male and football or rugger supporters. Their footie/rugger heros are all hetero - apparently. Revealing that a good chunk of their heroes are in fact raving benders, rather takes the wind out of their righteous poof-bashing ethos, and is thus a good thing unless you think the gays “have got it coming” for daring to be who they are. You probably think that queer bashing is a thing of the past. A moment of research will show you that you are quite wrong.

'Nearly all people carrying out these attacks are male and football or rugger supporters' It seems pretty obvious to me but I can’t prove it. It”s not the sort of statistic that is collected, unfortunately. But working class males seem to predominantly be interested in football and it is these same group who feel empowered to beat up strangers who they don’t like the look of. It would surely be surprising if there wasn’t a big overlap.

I acknowledge that you didn’t say that they do.

The latter I suspect I'm not sure. Gay men seem to be over represented in the arts. Is this because they feel comfortable in the arts, or is there a tendency to have better artistic ability than would be typical of a man? If it's the latter, would it not be reasonable to extend this thinking to other aspects of life, including sport perhaps? I'm talking tendency, not broad brush stereotype. Tendency could lead to the imbalances we see in these two disciplines.
