Dry day today so Stove flue collar removed and hole welded up, plus handrail modified to suit! 👍 I’m relieved to find that you aren’t very good at everything!

Ouch. But could have been worse, I suppose.

I thought it looked a bit like ash. I originally thought it was ash under the grime but my stripper suggested English oak, be good to know exactly what it is. Here’s one of the kitchen cupboard doors, maybe make identification easier? Sorry a little late I know, but it looks like Elm.

I see you used the trolley, as one does.
Nice. I never thought of using mine for that purpose.

After an early morning blast over to a pikey pal in Weston Favall, achieving a fantastic 27mpg average over the 320 mile trip🙄, I came away with this ‘extravagant waste of money’ to fit to the clown class boat over the coming weeks. Boats certainly taking shape, albeit slowly & expensively! 🙄

Real work started today, sanding 15 years of nicotine, yellowed tar and just general crud from deck head before heading to The Hopvine ( where I enjoyed a couple of pints with Mrs Tabby a few years ago) for beers to wash all the dust n shite down….. Things you do not to have to live in a coffin! 🙄

I was expecting a post on how you had amalgamated last nights 'plates' into the design...

Even though the hull itself is incredibly awful they did go to town with the wood !
In another life I could probably quite like these washer joshers but it's not possible in the current time space continuum because they are just far too infra dig !! I do like a well executed wooden internal lining though.
Nice.
