Definitely has an RW Davis Northwich Trader look about it. As we went through Saul today before our 'wild' mooring, there were a few 'Northwich Traders' about.

One side nearly finished last night, blue paint ordered to mix with white for front bow panels over next few days. Then on with dealing with this crap…

I saw one of these on the Thames today.
Does it have an oval brass plaque proclaiming some sort of relationship with historic boats produced by Yarwoods in Northwich?
Actually been a good day for the washer joshers. A huddy, a Barry Jenkins and a proper WFBCo "you can't touch this" all in one day of boating on the Thames.
And no pictures.

Does it have an oval brass plaque proclaiming some sort of relationship with historic boats produced by Yarwoods in Northwich? RW Davis Traders have an oval plaque fitted on the engine room recessed break panel, proclaiming ‘RW Davis of Saul, boat build number xxx type stuff’ ?

Ok thanks for that it's RWD.
I was getting confused. Part of the brain cell loss due to the cognitive decline which Google tells me usually starts at 45 years old. Or it could be the alcohol situation.
Anyway. Nice boat ! Nice to see the below water riveting is done right. You don't want the blighter to sink after all ! They must have saved a lot on welding rods.

Busy day, 10 hours non stop painting😱 Tunnel bands and bow sides undercoated first thing, side blacked whilst undercoat dried, that’s 2 full coats of blacking done now, then glossed all the panels! Got to say, don’t let any chandlery man talk you into buying Hemple paint, it’s crap!!😡 Always used craftmaster on my boats but succumbed to the sales talk here and bought a tin of blue for the band… Big mistake!! Anyhow pleased with the progress, so having a bottle of Superbock and watching Police Interceptors to celebrate!!👍

Really looking good.
I thought this thread may be a slow burn but you're cracking through the work.

Really looking good. I thought this thread may be a slow burn but you're cracking through the work. Rog This is the easy, labour intensive crap that I’m getting done whilst I’ve chance of it being on blocks, time consuming stuff will start in a month or so!👍 I’ve secured a permanent mooring on a private gated mooring ( just needs running past ‘the Committee’ 🙄 ), a few days from here and a bit nearer to Trina , so one night I can offer to buy them the beers I reneged on when they were last in Parbold ! 👍
