One hopes the little extra vitamin C will help with that.
I did wonder why I have so many eye floaters!

Wipe down with iso-proplyl or other alcohol cleaner. DO NOT try it dry it will end in tears. Make sure side to be done is in shade and spray with a mix of water and a few drops of detergent from a trigger spray bottle (ex household cleaning) Apply vinyl keeping surface wet until you are happy with position. I then turned my boat so vinyl was in the sun to aid drying/adhesion.
Hope this is of use

Maybe he could just take someone else's boat which already has the name done nicely.

Loddon and Duncan have the right advice.
That's how I've done tinted windows.
A little squeegee will get the air bubbles and water out, but don't press hard or you may tear it.

This look like a decent diy paint job. An observation: The flowers on the roof are a real giveaway. They indicate that you're either:
a/ married b/ gay
Not that there's anything wrong with either of these.

It's amazing how many people comment about the flowers, and how many pleasant conversations begin with such comments.
Over the years we've tried various plants but usually come back to marigolds, begonias, bizzie lizzies and geraniums ... they seem to thrive on the roof and make a terrific splash of colour.
One mate (sadly now deceased) always used to say when we met up "I knew it was you coming ... looks like a f***ing funeral barge"

On my narrow boat I grew a load of flowers from seed. Oranges and yellows and some white flowers.
Californian poppy Nasturtiums Canary creeper Mimulus Calendula And some others I ended up with so many plants the roof was more or less covered.
One year I even managed to grow Mina Lobata from seed which is a lovely flower and quite difficult to get going properly.
Big fan of flowers and neither gay nor ever married.
One thing I would like if I had a house would be to be able to have a proper old fashioned cottage garden. Lovely.

I like flowers, and i like it when our garden blooms, but i detest actually doing any work in relation to them, Gill and her mother do that bit, and a good job they do.
I like my herb patch, did tomato's and cucumbers a couple of years ago and enjoyed that, harvested all the toms and a shit load of Basil at the end of the year, knocked up basic sauces for pasta and froze it all in little pots, then just pull a pot out for dinner.
Need to have another go next year i think.
