Yep,have to agree with your boys.😁 The boats tend to be hired out mainly to folk with physical problems, this didn't stop me doing manic waves & faces to the Joe Public members who thought we were customers. PS I did not lick any windows. Many years ago, the Lyneal Boat was moored outside the Anchor and from the overheard conversation, no-one on the boat was disabled, but the boast was that they always got the best mooring. 3 hours later, outside the Junction at Norbury, I was asked to move for the 'disabled boat'. I pointed out to the man that he really needed to be careful who he boasted to. I don't know where he moored. We see many community boats around us, and I have the utmost respect for the volunteers who operate them, but I know of one that is a good source of income for the steerers.

If the plan is to not eat meat, why have 'pretend meat' products, like sausages, bacon , burgers etc. ? Rog Well, if we weren't meant to eat animals then they wouldn't be made out of meat in the first place. Why are we born with incisors?

That would be with the original bods, there's been a lot of water under the bridge since then !From what I now gather,it's a far more professional outfit. The hirers tend to be on the Golly & the Monty.

Can cranbury sauce go with any bird, like pigeon?

I prefer to use redcurrent jelly, which is also good with pheasant or pigeon breasts and a spoonfull in the gravy with venison steak is blissfull

People who use incorrect condiments on Sunday dinner, my mrs and her family! Mint sauce on every Sunday dinner, its just wrong. Lamb = Mint sauce Bird = Cranberry sauce Beef = Horseradish/Mustard Pork/Gammon = Apple sauce Its not hard is it. Not keen on condiments if the food doesn't need hiding ... personal choice innit ? My sainted old Mum used to like pepper on strawberries and vinegar on curry ... who's to judge Rog But that is what the thread is all about Rog, judging people who need judging.
