Spooky how your smoke is almost exactly following the radius of the bridge hole and then the contour of the bank!

And Ted Corbet was not a boatbuilder but he built quite a nice boat. I actually think that one belongs in an art gallery but despite my background sadly I don't know anyone who would be able to host it. Maybe just messing around on the River is the right approach ?

Dulcinea is a very, very handsome boat ... however that high vis yellow strip balks the eye in my view. Not as bad as Jim 's hideous roof box ... but in that general ball park Rog

It's actually orange not yellow. You might not know how useful it is to be visible on a River waterway Putting orange around the top of the wheelhouse is almost universal for the tugs and workboats on the Thames. Like this No it's not a tug but I like to project an image of being serious.

Yes but have you seen any other boats with roof boxes designed for Volvo sub-SUV's on them?

Sadly yes ... and they are of course perfectly at liberty to have them. Only expressing my opinion, which we all know is worthless Rog

Here's a pic of one of my oft praised and popular plastic boxes. I believe some couples prefer a teapot on the boat roof and take offense at anything else. I regard it as a guarantee against theft. The Red Hind was strolling along the path in front of us at Leighton Moss RSPB reserve. I nearly bought some venison from the shop but it was a little dear. Also spotted a 10 point red stag, we heard quite a few stags roaring, tis that time of year.

Very short of boaty pictures this year so just a couple more - only of lumpy water fishing boats in Mevagissey inner harbour though. Taken September 2021.

Went there a few years ago. Mevagissey is a cool little harbour. Very postcard like.
