I don't really get rugby. I've tried watching it a few times. I can admire the fitness, strength and athleticism of the players, it's something to behold. Sometimes you see great skill in handling and body movements when the backs are running with the ball. That aside though, the ball seems to be out of play for much of the time. At other times it seems to be all about hoofing the ball as far as possible, in order to gain territory. The balance in every game I've watched has been in favour of the hoof, rather than running with the ball. Maybe only 5 minutes of exciting running play in a game.
Am I missing something?

Yes.

Actually, I love the honesty of the game, in that it's for all shapes and sizes, it has a very physical element, but speed and flair stand out, and there is a strong tactical element too.
I enjoy other sport too, but rugby (union) is the ultimate in my view. And yes, there are boring games.

A reasonable effort in France from a much changed saints, the result was as expected - meanwhile, up the road in Leicester they took a proper tonking by Glasgow Despite Saracens getting by Richard Cockerils current employer he must have had a rye chuckle at AM's expense! Edit due to brain fart.

Leicester are in bits. What the hell is going on there.
Looks like choosing between the two big voices went well !

T was epic for Saints, Nadolo was, however, too much to handle!
The entire Leicester 23 were missing, I had the afternoons fun on 5 live extra while decorating. Annoyingly Saracens were well worth their win. Glasgow were rampant at the Roundabout, Mauger must be wondering what the fuck his lads were doing!

Ulster - Bordeaux wasn't a bad game, see sawing between the two, Ulster looked to have the upper hand but unraveled in.the last 15.

TBH Gazza, I haven't seen any games today. I've only been able to look at score sheets as results came in.... Oooh and twatter for the Barf game, due to work commitments. I was offered a ticket today for The Rec, but had to decline . Had to take my shoes & socks off today to keep tally with the Bath try count

Can't wait for the next episode of the Leicester story. Would love to be a fly on the wall there. However we need Ben Youngs and Dan Cole to rise well above club form. Rog

So a draw for stumpy and no end to the decade long drought at the roundabout for me. Still, a LBP and a must win to advance in the Anglo Welsh cup,oh well, no surprise tbh!
